It was 2010, high up in the Blue Mountains of Jamaica … more than 3000 feet above Kingston. Accompanied by our Jamaican cousins, we went for one of the most beautiful walks I’ve ever been on. The homes were elegant and the gardens were dreamy. And then I saw it! The most incredible tree … laden with huge translucent white blooms that seemed to float down from above. It was a heavenly sight and I knew I had to paint it. And I did! And I called it “Love Drops Down”. Here’s how it turned out.
